There was a good turnout of members at the Trade Night. The trade stands were set up early and their wares were keenly inspected by all and sundry. Old friends were met and fishing tales exchanged, no doubt all were looking forward to the new season and intending to do better than last year.

Due to the high water conditions in early November it was not possible to remove any fish from the river for egg production. By the time the river had returned to normal levels the fish were already paired up on the redds, and we were advised by the FCB not to attempt to remove fish as this could impair the natural breeding and would not overall be beneficial to the river.
PLEASE NOTE ALL MEMBERSHIP FEES MUST BE PAID UP NO LATER THAN THE LAST DAY IN FEBRUARY. ANY MEMBER NOT PAID UP BY THIS DATE MUST WRITE TO THE COMMITTEE AND GIVE A VALID REASON FOR THE DELAY.
